Jo & Rob | Browsholme Hall Wedding

I have never seen two people smile so much. Their faces must have been aching by the end of the day. But what a day, and what a reason to smile! Jo and Rob are two of the loveliest people you could meet, with a zest for life and sense of adventure that is contagious, and they are SO in love. I had so much fun shooting their engagement photos in Edinburgh, I just knew their wedding was going to be awesome, and I wasn’t disappointed! Jo and Rob got married at Emmanuel Holcombe, a beautiful church in Ramsbottom, the church where Jo’s Grandma had got married. After a beautiful ceremony they travelled by the cutest vintage VW camper van to Browsholme Hall, in the beautiful Ribble Valley, where they held their reception in the Tithe Barn. With fresh colour-palette of yellows, greens and blues, and an abundance of tartan, this wedding was a treat for the eyes. Not to mention that Jo looked like a princess in her Sassi Holford gown, cathedral veil and family heirloom tiara. Peeking out from under the layers of tulle you might catch a glimpse of Jo’s fabulous Vivienne Westwood shoes, complete with bright red hearts – amazing! The food was delicious (thank you!) and so beautifully presented, the personalised badge favours were a brillliant ice-breaker, and the ceilidh dancing wild! Jo & Rob’s wedding was an incredible celebration of life and love, and absolutely the most fun ever!

Best look on a groom’s face EVER!

How adorable is ‘Tiffany’, the beautifully refurbished wedding camper-van? I love the purple and cream leather interior and details. Definitely the cutest method of wedding transport I have ever seen :)

I love the lemon and lime centrepieces and tree-trunk cake-stands, made by the groom himself.

Ahhh, the shoes!

The favours were in the form of badges, which were in a jar on each table. It was a brilliant ice-breaker and very funny as guests found the most appropriate badge for each member of the table. Genius!

Like I said before, zest for life… ;) there is never a dull moment with these two!

Jo and Rob, it has been an absolute honour to get to know you both over the last year, and even more so to be present at your amazing wedding! Thank you so much for having me as your wedding photographer. I wish you all the best in your married life and future together, and know that you are going to be an amazing team.
