I just couldn’t wait to share some pictures from Wes & Becs’ super-creative and quirky alternative country wedding! Wes is a very talented graphic designer and had poured his heart and soul into designing a beautiful and unique wedding full of creative details. And what an eye for detail – he had thought of everything! Bird-shaped pie pastry, personalised flags, candles in birdcages, vintage books, aprons for the waiting staff… the colour-scheme and bird theme were carried through to every last detail. As if that wasn’t enough, the groomsmen wore vintage Liberty-print ties and tan brogues, the outdoor ceremony came complete with a doorway and fireplace and the reception took place in Papakata tipis… All at the most beautiful venue: Shortflatt Tower in Northumberland. The day was filled with so much love and happiness and fun and creativity. Words can’t do it justice, so here are just a few of the photos to give you a taster of this amazing, unique wedding…
