The lovely Wes & Becs are getting married on Saturday in Northumberland. I am very excited about this wedding, especially to see the culmination of Wes’s creative efforts (yes, the groom is the behind the crafting and DIY for this wedding!). I have an inkling that the day is going to be extremely cool, quirky, stylish and fun :) Although Becs is from the North-east originally, they both now live in the town where I grew up, Tunbridge Wells in Kent, so I combined their engagement shoot with a family visit, and my new nephew was born that morning! Very good timing ;) The shoot took place at Scotney Castle estate in Kent, but rather than use the formal gardens we went on a wander around the estate on the hunt for interesting and unusual textures and backgrounds. Wes is a very talented graphic designer and it was fun working with a fellow creative :) I love the lines of the hop poles and the ancient wooden beams we found… Anyway, here are the pictures!
