Following the success of the last few Manchester Wedding Tweetup Parties, we’re getting our glad rags on again for another night of informal and glamorous networking :)
Those of us in small creative businesses can often feel a little isolated, working from home, on our own, with no-one there to chat to, to offer support, to bounce ideas off or have lunch with… (sob sob!) We don’t get to have office parties or work nights out (cue violins…)
Ok, it’s not that bad and we love our work, but hey, wouldn’t it be fun to get together for a few drinks, chat about our art, business, the wedding industry, swap ideas, make new contacts, find ways to work together and dream up exciting collaborative projects? It’s been lovely to see the connections and friendships made since the last event. I feel a bit like a match-maker ;)
So, please join myself, the fabulous Fonix music and All Wrapped Up Wedding and Event planners for our very own ‘work night out’ on Tuesday 11th October at 8pm, at the gorgeous Great John Street Hotel in Manchester. We’ll sip champagne cocktails accompanied by live jazz from Fonix music, while doing some very informal networking (this is not BNI – no formal introductions or presentations!). There might even be cake… Any wedding professionals, other creative people and cool entrepreneurs very welcome. Oh, and it’s completely free – but sadly you’ll have to buy your own drinks ;)
